How to get to Yaroslavl
Yaroslavl is the administrative center of Yaroslavl region, located in Central Russia, about 250 km to the north-east of Moscow.
The usual way to reach Yaroslavl is by train. The recommended high-speed trains No. 102, 104, 106 with comfortable seats depart from Yaroslavsky railway station in Moscow every day at 7:35, 14:45, and 19:05. The traveling time is about 3.5 hours. There are also many other trains calling at Yaroslavl but they usually take more than 4 hours.
From St.-Petersburg there are sleeper trains 045 and 337/347 departing at 17:11 and 18:14 and arriving at 5:38 and 6:49. For these trains it is recommended to use “compartment” or “soft” types of coach.
You can get more information and buy e-ticket online on the Russian Railways website. When buying the ticket, please, make sure to select the destination station “Iaroslavl Gl”!
Venue and transporation
The 26th FRUCT conference will be held in the main building of the Yaroslavl State University. The building is located in the centre of Yaroslavl city at the Krasnaya Ploshad (Red Square). The address is: Yaroslavl, Sovetskaya street 14 (map). You can get there from any site of the city using a public transportation that goes to the “Krasnaya Ploshad” stop.
Yaroslavl has a vast public transportation system with a mild price of 18 roubles for a single ride. You can buy tickets only by cash from conductors inside a vehicle. Route schemes of public transport are available on the Yargortrans web page (in Russian). The current location of municipal transport can be viewed using the ot76 service (in Russian). In order to plan a route inside the city you can use RusAvtobus, Yandex Maps or 2GIS services. The last listed service also allows making explicit search for a place to have a meal, buy food and souvenirs.

Sightseeing
Yaroslavl is an old city (founded in 1010) that has a lot of historic monuments. It is the key town of the historical Golden Ring of Russia. We encourage you to take an opportunity and see old churches, visit the embankment and take picture of yourselves inside the pavilion. All conference participants are welcome to take part in the walking guide tour in the historical part of Yaroslavl downtown that will be held after end of main session on April 22 (Wednesday) starting at 18.00, we meeting in the front of the conference main room.
