Ann Ukhanova received her specialist degree in complex protection of objects of  informatisation (diploma thesis “Organisation of retransmissions in communication systems with relay nodes”) in 2008 from St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia. Since 2009, she is a PhD student in the Denmark Technical Univetsity, DTU Fotonik, Coding and Visual Communication Group. Her scientific interests include real-time video compression and transmission, scalable video coding, distributed video coding, mobile multimedia, wireless systems, e-commerce.

Dr. Eugeniy Belyaev received his M.Sc. degree in computer science (diploma thesis “Development of echo cancellation algorithm for IP-telephony”) in 2005 from St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia. In 2009, he received the Ph.D. degree in system analysis, control and information processing from SUAI (PhD thesis “Video compression control for data transmission in mobile communication systems”). Since 2010, he is working as a research scientist in the Laboratory of Information technologies in systems analysis and modeling of St.-Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation (SPIIRAS) and as assistant professor in St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation. His scientific interests include real-time video compression and transmission, video source rate-control, scalable video coding, motion estimation and arithmetic encoding.

Vitaly Grinko is receiving his bachelor degree in Information Networks at St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia. Since 2008 he is in web-development team taking part in a few perspective web-projects (www.bitbybit.ru, www.sportritm.ru, www.iPetersburg.ru, etc) as web applications developer. His scientific interests include real-time video compression and transmission, scalable video coding, mobile multimedia, wireless systems and web 2.0/3.0 ideologies, mashups and open interfaces for Web.

Anton Dogadaev received his specialist degree in complex protection of objects of informatisation (diploma thesis “Turbo equalization in 4G systems”) in 2010 from St.-Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia. Since 2010, he is a PhD student in the SUAI at the department of information security, Russia. His scientific interests include networking and wireless communications, image/video compression systems, mobile technology, hardware design and programming.
