06/02/14: Defence of dissertation in the field of theoretical and computational physics, M.Sc. Nino Samadashvili

M.Sc. Nino Samadashvili will defend the dissertation "Nanoscale Friction of Ice" on 6 February 2014 in lecture hall F239a, Otakaari 3, Espoo. In the dissertation, molecular dynamics simulations were used to study frictional behavior of an ice-ice system at the nanoscale. The work provides useful insight into the field of nanoscale ice friction an can be used as a basis for future development of the field.
