07/02/14: Defence of dissertation in the field of learning organisation, M.Sc. (Tech.) Riku Ruotsalainen

M.Sc. (Tech.) Riku Ruotsalainen will defend the dissertation "The micro-to-macro problem: the generation of mobilizing frames through idea development conversations" on 7 February 2014 in lecture hall TU2, Otaniementie 17, Espoo. The dissertation investigates the conversations of two task forces comprising of professionals from nine health care organizations. The task forces were set up to create new practices and measurements for managing patient transfers. The dissertation shows how most potential ideas die in the conversations as the ideas fail to gain the attention and support of other professionals.
