Research Fellows in Wireless Communications (2 positions)

Candidates with active research profiles in wireless communications, with strong backgrounds in communications theory, are encouraged to apply.
The research fellows will work with Professor Stephen Hanly, and other members of the wireless communications group, as well as leading researchers at the nearby CSIRO ICT centre.
The CSIRO Macquarie University chair in Wireless Communications has been established with funding provided by the Science and Industry Endowment Fund (SIEF).
These positions are part of an initiative to expand wireless communications research at Macquarie University, backed by the university and SIEF funding. The research fellows will play a key role in building up critical mass, with research in exciting and important areas such as heterogeneous networks, self-organizing and cooperative networks, interference management, and network design under energy constraints. The research fellows will be encouraged to lead in developing new research directions for the department in the area of wireless communications.
An attractive salary package will be offered from
AUD $74,029 - $98,940 per annum, plus 17% employer\'s superannuation and annual leave loading.
Level and salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
It is essential to have a PHD in a relevant field and a quality research record in good international conferences and journals.
