Vitaly Petrov, Security Working Group Secretary

I graduated from Saint-Petersburg University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia and now I am a first year M.Sc. student in Department of Communications Engineering, Tampere University of Technology (TUT), Tampere, Finland. Also I work as a Research Assistant in the group headed by FRUCT Chair, Professor Yevgeni Koucheryavy.
My current research directions are:
- cryptology and information security;
- communication networks and protocols;
- mobile systems;
I started working with mobile systems in 2008 with the Nokia-SUAI Mobile Software and Services Lab in my home university. Then I have been involved in R&D projects in the area of cryptology and mobile platforms security for 2 years. Also in 2008 I joined FRUCT and since that time I am an active participant of FRUCT events.
