A graduate of TUAS, Kimmo Leppäkorpi, made the video as Bachelor's thesis for the degree in Information Technology. The idea was to celebrate the Capital of Culture Year of Turku.

The Consortium on Applied Research and Professional Education (CARPE) is the first strategic alliance of a number of European universities of applied sciences. The partners aim to encourage cooperation in research programmes and jointly develop educational programmes. TUAS is a member of CARPE network.
