Rapid low-fi prototyping techniques are useful in the concepting phase of a technical research project. They provide tools for designers and researchers e.g. when potential use scenarios are developed, prototype features need to be prioritized, or research needs to be communicated outside of the core research team. In this workshop, a selection of low-fi prototyping techniques utilizing playful design methods are introduced through hands-on exercises in small groups.
