PhD positions at CTTC, Barcelona, Spain

The Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) is an  advanced research center on Information Technologies and Communications based in Castelldefels, Barcelona. Current research areas include Wireless Communications, Access Technologies, Communication Subsystems, Optical Networking, IP Technologies and Intelligent Energy .

NRC presents "Smart-M3" open source platform

Nokia Research Center (NRC) presented the "Smart-M3" open source platform at the NoTA Conference (www.vtt.fi/nota2009) Sept 30 - Oct 1, San Jose.

Smart-M3 is a new functional software platform developed by NRC Helsinki in partnership with SOFIA and the Devices and Interoperability Ecosystem project - DIEM). It allows multiple applications from multiple vendors to share ad-hoc information across numerous domains, enabling cross domain and cross platform interoperability.

Sixth FRUCT seminar

The 6th FRUCT seminar will be organized in Helsinki, Finland on 3-6 November 2009. The seminar registration and training registration are closed since October 30, 16:00 Finnish time. We are glad to report that 227 persons have registered for the seminar and 37 persons actively attended the Qt training.
